The Taylor set is unique and unisex. I really wanted to try Byredo's Bal D'Afrique. When I saw CapeTown was the reimagined version I was sold. It smells so fresh and bright and it lasted all day. My other fav was English Summer. The other scents in the set leaned a bit too masculine but they were great for my husband and brother. All of these scents have a great lasting power and the 10ml bottles are the perfect size. You really get a decent amount of fragrance for a fraction of the cost.

I placed my order on June 18 and received it on June 23. Shipping time was reasonable.
The fragrances offer good value, solid projection, respectable longevity, and several impressive interpretations of designer scents. The 10 mL atomizers are also excellent and distribute fragrance evenly.
My main concern was product condition upon arrival. Multiple vials across the discovery sets appeared underfilled, with some looking 25–50% empty. A few were sticky and showed signs of leakage, while others appeared underfilled without visible evidence of leaking. Since the discovery sets were advertised as containing 10 mL fragrances, I expected full vials.
I contacted customer service on June 24 and followed up on June 26 but had not received a response by June 27. An automated acknowledgment system would help reassure customers that inquiries were received.
Overall, Maison Kin offers strong value, but improvements in packaging, quality control, and customer communication are needed.

We sincerely apologize for both the condition of some of the discovery set bottles and the delay in responding to your email. We've now replied and are arranging complimentary replacements for the bottles that appear to have leaked.
The discovery sets were from our 2023 production run and were factory-sealed in cellophane, so we were unable to inspect the individual bottles before shipping. We appreciate your feedback on our packaging and quality control, and we're already making improvements going forward.

One thing worth noting is that if you're testing multiple fragrances at the same time, it can quickly lead to olfactory fatigue (sometimes called "nose blindness"), making it difficult to smell them even though they're still projecting. We generally recommend wearing each fragrance on its own for a full day and giving your nose some time between tests.
Many of our customers report strong performance from these fragrances, but scent perception can vary from person to person. We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll continue exploring the collection.
All 5 scents 10/10. Though 4 out of 5 travel sticks leaked they did reshipped another set but the samthing happened. Customer service is 10/10.
I had an issue with an order and emailed mk and within a complete total of 24 hours of me receiving the order they already emailed me back, and came up with a resolution and were extremely easy to work with! Although it's not fun to have an issue with an order most people don't want to reach out to a company customer service, due to the "usual/normal" hateful representatives, or feeling like it's just a waste of time. I can honestly tell you that I was beyond impressed, and surprised with Maison Kin customer service as well as their products! I absolutely admire, appreciate, and respect a company like MK! They have amazing quality products, and incredible prices!! The 6 products I have tried have been amazing quality and & have great staying power. It doesn't matter how strong or light the scent is it stays on for hours, and I love that you don't have to continuously reapply to get any kind of payoff! Maison Kin has definitely found a loyal customer! I look forward to making many more purchases and discovering all that they have to offer! Companies could really learn a lot from MK and how you not only run a business, but to also treat each customer as a human being instead of just another number! The price on the sets are great for trying new scents; unfortunately I didn't like any of these and sets cannot be returned (understandably). But, I have purchased 4 other perfumes from Madison Kin and loved them all. So, on my next purchase I will be sure that I like at least one.

I'm impressed with the fragrances, but I think the 10ml bottles are a bit much. Maybe do 5ml bottles. I agree, 2ml are usually not enought to wear a few times, but 10ml seems wasteful if you don't care for the fragrance.
